My Mayan symbol is Flint which translates to "mirror". When I do readings/divinations for someone, I try the best I can to get out of my own self so that I can reflect back to someone what they cannot see for themselves. Showing someone their light, their beauty, which they may not be able to see for themselves.
I like the concept of being a reflector, but I have had to deal with far too much narcissism over the years to see it in a clear and positive fashion.
