After much thought and research, I decided to spend the night in Dateland. Thank you for all your suggestions, but this seemed to fit the bill.

Now to get through the wind advisory and into the Slabs.
Yum! We discovered Dateland on our drive towards Yuma last week after a fellow blogger strongly urged us to try the date shakes. Still craving them ever since, but at least we did have the presence of mind to buy 2 bags of dates before we left. They have provided a delicious treat every few days ever since!
