No trip to the Slabs is complete without a visit to Salvation Mountain. You can't miss it. Do a google search and you will find plenty of pictures and videos and even its own website (
http://www.salvationmountain.us/). This was one man's passion that to me felt like it also held a bit of madness.

After two visits to the Mountain I am left wondering... what sin did he commit that so needed repenting?
The sin of religion.
ReplyDeleteNo. He wasn't all that religious when we talked to him. Mad, possibly, but never in any way that put me off. He seemed to be a very strange, gentle man. I'm glad we were able to talk with him before he left Salvation Mountain.
