The Aspect Of My Life

Something is up with feet.  I have begun discarding old shoes and buying shoes that are more in alignment with being barefooted.  I now have yoga sandals, moccasins and a pair of vibram five fingers on their way to me.  I wonder how many of us are not connected to the Earth's energy grid lines because of the shoes we wear.  This is something currently swirling around in my thoughts.

While in Phoenix for a few days I had a pedicure, the second of my lifetime.  I am happy with the result and loved spending time with my sister and mother, but doubt I will make the effort to do this on a regular basis.

New shoes on the way

  1. I went to REI the other day and the shoe sales person was wearing the new shoes you've pictured above. They did not have this shoe to sale at REI. I wondered about the toes being spread too far apart unnaturally? Those shoes sure grabbed my attention. I was full of questions about them. I look forward to hearing how you like them.

  2. Hi Levonne,
I think our feet are unnaturally too tight and being spread apart is what is natural. Gives us more balance and connection to the Earth. I'll let you know how I like them.

  3. Since you are among those whose 2nd toe is longer than your big toe, the FF may hurt. I've read about others complaining of this.

  4. I've LOVE my vibram's and also have morton's toe. I've been wearing them for a few weeks and it hasn't been a problem at all for me. I did get sized to accommodate my morty toes appropriately though.

  5. I watched the video and measured twice so hopefully they will fit. Thanks for all the info.

  6. If I wear flat leather sandals/flip flops I have a tendency to develop plantar faciitis so I've stayed away from them. However, in October I discovered Skechers tone up sandals and I love, love, love them and they provide lots of cushy support for my relatively flat arches.
