I can hardly believe this is where I will be staying the next several months, it feels so much like home. And I love the fact that I do not have to wear an ugly polo shirt, or any uniform. However, there is an amazing tie-dye store in town (http://www.dukatt71.com/) so to honor the wonderful hippie/commune atmosphere of T or C, I bought some t-shirts to wear while working.
We had a potluck last night and after that there was free outdoor entertainment in the lounging area http://www.gwynethandmonko.com/. I love these bonuses to the job.
The downside has been the RV spaces which are a very tight squeeze and basically just a gravel parking lot. Next week I am moving sites where someone else is leaving and then I will have more room and start settling in. Until then, I just walk across the street, find a pocket of peace to settle into, and call it "home".
