| Floating Dock Bar - made me feel kinda sea sick so didn't spend much time there |
I am in Parker, AZ, about 30 miles south of Lake Havasu. And I am tired.
After my scheduled oil change I did not get on the road until 1:00 PM and didn't arrive at my final destination until after 5:00 P.M. Part of that was because I could not decide where to stay. I had reservations already made at
Fox's but when I pulled in I couldn't find the check-in office and I just thought there might be something better. So I drove down the road, found another place, paid for the site and then decided I didn't want to stay there! So I drove back to Fox's and ended up with a site right across from the Colorado River, free internet and cable TV. I dunno, just one of those days where my indecision cost me a lot of money. Got to get back into my traveling groove.

Long day but I bet the spot you have is really great. I went there about 16yrs ago and had one drink at the floating bar. Yes it was rough. We stayed down the road at a campground I believe was a state park. We where right on the water there too. I loved it. Have great time.
